Let’s Snow Crazy!
Avatar winter gear is now available!
Head onto your dashboard and crank up the avatar editor to flesh out your virtual self in ski coats, hats, gloves, scarves and whatever else you can find to keep warm!
Now if only we could play with them on GoW2’s avalanche map, our avatars take down those locust once and for all!
Leave a comment to discuss how you have dressed your avatar!
Previews, reviews and all sorts of other views…
After reaching 100 hits, 360outlook is going to attempt to reach 200 in double quick time.
Producing reviews, previews and other views on games will hopefully help get a little bit of banter going on the site and maybe have more comments and the snowball effect will continue!
The first review will be coming after Christmas so that the review will be fresh.
Look out for it and leave requests for reviews and I’ll do my best to fullfil them!
It is complete… Can I keep the match ball?
With Chow Yun Fat putting one final Precision Aim into the face of the end boss of Stranglehold, the hattrick was complete.
My last post, which I’m sad to say, was a very long time ago signalled my intentions and I’m glad to have finished it.
Call of Duty was the toughest, particularly with the last level but Stranglehold was also a very tough challenge.
I will revel in my glory and wait for GTA IV – I’ve added a new page for that too!
Legendary, Veteran and Hard-boiled
I believe I may well be attempting the most difficult video-gaming hat-trick of all time!
It is as follows:
1. I have completed Halo 3 on Legendary. This is number one as it was done partly on co-op.
2. I have completed COD4 on Veteran. This includes the ‘Epilogue’ mission! (dubbed the hardest level in a video game ever by some!)
3. I am attempting to complete Stranglehold on Hard-boiled. This is the games 4th difficulty level after Casual, Normal and Hard.
Completing this would make me amazed to be frank.
(If Stranglehold proves too difficult I will just change this post to Bioshock as I have completed that on Hard in my first run through and saved all the little sisters and got all the available achievements too!)
But this is not bragging. I am looking for support and tips from anyone who has played and maybe completed Stranglehold – thanks guys.
Missed Opportunities(?)

So the Call of Duty 4 Beta Token competition has been and gone without anyone claiming the code…
But in better news there is a PES 2008 demo up on the marketplace for all regions apart from Asia and North America so go and set it to download now! (we’ll wait for you…)
It weighs in at a hefty 1.18GB but its full of heel-flicks, back-heels, flip-flaps and linesman flags (which now ‘waggle’ when a free-kick is awarded!)
Elsewhere in 360-land it has been fairly quiet – I’ve not had much time to game myself but I do have 3 different pre-orders from 3 different stores for the 3 editions! *shock!*
Legendary Edition: Amazon.co.uk
Collectors Edition: Woolworths
Vanilla Edition: GAME
I only intend to pick one of the titles up but couldn’t resist the exclusivity of the ‘cat-helmet’ edition as it is commonly known.
So until next time, I still await the first comment on any three of our pages and may not post again until Halo 3 is in my console!
Spoilers will be tagged and n00bs will be fragged!
So, the Halo 3 ending has already been leaked!
Amazingly some people have managed to get their hands on the last video sequence detailing the ending of the epic story and it begs me to ask “why?”
Under what circumstances would you want to know the ending? – If you’re going to play it, it’s now ruined – and if you’re not interested, then, you’re not interested.
Either way it is out there so take the advice of 360Fanboy (above) and avoid spoilers at all costs. Check out our new Halo 3 Coverage section too!
Rest assured that 360-outlook won’t be giving any spoilers (unless they are extremely well tagged.)
The COD4 Beta is still active and an end date has been announced: September 30th. 360-outlook has a code to giveaway to let you experience it and perhaps tide you over until Halo 3.
Stay tuned for more features coming soon and leave a comment about the current ones!
SEGA – “Let’s Do This!”

The COD4 Beta (or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Beta, to give it it’s full name) is well under way and is a lot of fun. It borrows the party/matchmaking system from the Halo franchise which can be hit and miss but the perks and customization are a big positive and it is addictive. Get together with a group of friends and play through it…
If you haven’t gotten in on the COD4 Beta yet now is your chance – 360-outlook has a code to give away. To win simply comment on this post stating why you deserve to get your frag on. The only other rule is that the post must be made before Friday 21st September at 11:59pm. (which is when the winner will be announced)

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was released on the XBLA this week and I picked it up with the original for just 800MSP. I sped through the first title remembering all the hidden area and secrets as I went. The second was more of a challenge as I had never played it on the original Mega Drive but it felt like a new game which was all the more fun.
Good Luck and see you online!
Three years after the second, two weeks until the third!
.
Halo.
It’s going to be unavoidable in the following weeks as anticipation builds and the matchmaking finally begins on September 26th.
I’ve just finished Halo 2, three years after it was released and just two weeks before Halo 3 is released! I have the same opinion as many – it was repetitive in stages and lacks a serious ending but the “Finish the Fight” tagline for the third iteration bears much more significance now.
Elsewhere I’m awaiting my COD4 Beta token (via the GAME preorder) and the PES 08 trailer up on marketplace has whet my appetitive somewhat.
From Zero to Three, yo…

After awaiting the first visitor of the site, we get three along at once.
(It’s a start at least!)
Thanks to the three of you that found the site and I only hope that next time you can leave a comment!
In gaming news there’s a lot going on:
- Access the COD4: MW Beta by preordering your copy of the game from GAME.co.uk
- Stranglehold – the Jon Woo action game – is also available for £32.99 on preorder from GAME.co.uk using the code ‘summerfun’ at the checkout.
- A PES 2008 (or Pes 7 if you prefer) trailer is up on marketplace displaying the nutmegs, shirt-pulling and other shenanigans that will be going on in the coming months.
“Done” – A Twofer

So I’ve explored every bit of Rapture and managed the 1000GS on my first play-through (I was looking forward to going through it again). Playing on hard AND saving all the Little Sisters was quite challenging but there’s no way you could harvest them, right? Not for me, anyway.
I also finished off Aegis Wing (the free Arcade game) with the last achievement being “score 185,000″ – which I got by completing single player on normal difficulty.
Marketplace news: The GoW Hidden Fronts map pack is now free (R.R.P 800msp) which is the price it should have been to start with. See you online!
